1. Fasting: Water, juice,
BarleyMax. The purpose is to decrease the stress on the body (from working to digest
food) so that the body can concentrate on cleansing the
toxins.
2. Ginger Bath: Run a tub of hot water (as hot as you can
handle without burning yourself), and place 3-4 Tbsp of ginger powder in the tub.
Get in and soak for 15-20 minutes, rinse off, and then wrap up in a sheet or blanket
and go lie down. The hot water opens the pores of the skin and the ginger works to
pull the toxins out. Some people may even drink a hot ginger tea while soaking to
further help the sweating process. It is important to be careful of the temperature,
especially with someone who is diabetic, that it is not too hot and thus burns the
skin.
3. Charcoal: as a poultice over a rash or bite make a
poultice large enough to cover the area and leave on for several hours. Internally: to soothe a sore throat or help a cough: place two tablets on the back of the
tongue and allow to dissolve down the back of the throat. This will soothe the
throat and stop a cough. At the first sign of "feeling bad" begin taking 2
capsules every 2 hours with a full 8-12 oz glass of water for about 24 hours (if you
wake at night take them again) longer if still feeling like you are catching
something. For poison ivy/oak do both the poultice and taking it
internally.
4. Coffee enema: one or two per day as needed per
instructions. Be sure to drink a minimum of 2 juices for each enema that you
take.
5. Heating Compress: to help relieve chest, head, sinus
congestion. Also to help relieve sore throat discomfort. Follow directions on
handout.
6. Colonic: Can help flush toxins out of the body quicker
than the regular enema.
7. Skin Brushing: this should be used
daily to help prevent the buildup of toxins on the skin.
