Castor Oil Packs
Castor Oil Pack #1
Obtain a large flannel cloth, large enough to cover the area. Put a heating pad over area for 5 minutes to warm area. Rub the area with castor oil. Be generous with castor oil. Massage area for 5-10 minutes adding oil as you massage. Put cloth on area to absorb the oil. Remove cloth, add more oil and massage area again. Do this several times so your cloth is saturated but not dripping. Cover the area with the cloth, and then put a large piece of plastic to cover the cloth and put an old towel on top of the plastic. Then put the heating pad on the layers of cloth and leave it on for 1-2 hours. You may read or watch television while you are doing this. Go to bed and have a good sleep. In the morning massage the area again and take your enema. (This is good for many things, but we recommend it primarily to help break up tumors and to help dislodge the toxic buildup in the colon.)
Castor Oil Pack #2
1. Wool flannel: approximately 12? X 27?
2. Castor Oil to soak cloth
3. glass baking dish to heat pack
4. Heating pad to keep pack hot
Fold over flannel to size that would fit inside a baking dish (about three to four thicknesses). Soak cloth in castor oil. Place soaked pack in baking dish to heat. * May heat in a microwave for about one minute - it should be as hot as you can handle without burning yourself. It may also be heated in a conventional oven, on very low heat, watching very carefully so you don't burn your pack. Place the pack over the affected area, then place plastic wrap over the pack, and finally place a heating pad over the wrap and pack. Leave it over the affected area for a minimum of one hour, but may be left on continuously if desired (in this instance, the heating pad does not have to be used for the whole time because of the body heat). You can always use the castor oil pack anywhere on the body - but never neglect the liver!
It is important to clean the area well after the pack. Use soap and water, this will remove the toxins when you are done with the pack. A lot of people will get a rash when they don't wash the skin carefully. What has happened is that toxins were pulled out by the oil in the pack and deposited on the surface of the skin. This caused a skin irritation. If you don't wash it off, you will probably reabsorb it.
The pack may be reused. Store it in a baking dish that you want to devote just to that purpose. You can put Saran Wrap over the top or slip it inside a big Ziploc bag. It does not have to be refrigerated.
Q: How does the oil get into the body?
A. It moves through the skin
Q: How often do you have to change the oil?
A. Well, if you are pulling toxins out of a system, that pack will become discolored. Sometimes in as little as ten to fifteen applications it will turn yellow or brown and it'll be pretty obvious. It will get nasty. When that color change happens, toss it. What is happening is that there is a two-way effect from the pack. On one hand, the oil is being driven into the system and is having beneficial effects. On the other hand, the castor oil pack is drawing toxins out of the system. That's why it is so important to use wool flannel. If the main benefit you are getting is simply driving oil into the body, it won't change color. You can use it for 50 or 100 times. Don't wash it - just keep adding more oil as it starts to dry out.
