Laws of Total Health

Nutrition: The foods we eat are what determine the ultimate strength and health of our body's cells, and those cells are what make up our body. The more fresh, raw (live), foods that we put into our body, the healthier the cells and so the healthier our body. Those cells make up all tissues, which compose the organs as well as making up the immune system, lymphatic system, blood, bones, nerves, and every other body component. If we put the wrong kind of substances into our bodies, it will eventually cause the cells to degenerate, which will lead to an overall degeneration of our total health - which ultimately means disease and death.
Exercise: Exercise is vital for our bodies to get adequate oxygenation to the cells, as well as helping to provide a way of getting toxins out of the cells. It assists the immune system, by assisting the lymphatic system to move the lymphatic fluid around the body. Exercise also strengthens the muscles to enable us to more readily perform daily functions.
Water: Without water, our bodies would not be able to function. There is more and more a link between dehydration and the many aches, pains and diseases with which we suffer. Ex: ulcers, arthritis, headaches, asthma, allergies and many others.
Sunlight: Sunlight assists the body in converting Vitamin D. It also brightens our day and improves our mental health.
Detoxification: As you eliminate the bad things and replace them with good things, your body will begin to cleanse itself of all manner of toxic substances. It is important to assist the body in this cleansing. We believe that by helping the body with skin brushing, colonics, detox foot spa, far infrared sauna, and other natural detoxification means, your body may begin to show rejuvenating signs even quicker!
Fresh Air: The body can live for many days without food, very few days without water, but only about 4 minutes without oxygen. Fresh, unpolluted air is what we need everyday. This will insure our body having access to the oxygen necessary in sufficient amounts to nourish our cells. If we could exercise each day outside in the fresh air and sunshine it would be to our great benefit.
Rest: So many of us are sleep deprived. Adequate rest is necessary for the body to reach its optimal health. The body does its best healing while it is asleep. The body can then concentrate on healing without having to expend the energy on keeping you awake! The best rest is before midnight, 9 or 9:30 is the best time to retire for the night.
Trust in God: Without trust in God, we are lost. It makes no difference what our health is, we have no future and no hope. Spending time everyday with God, will build our relationship with Him, and we will build that trust, and will have hope for the future and the present regardless of the circumstances we face.
Attitude of Gratitude: Be thankful in all things. No matter how bad you may think you have it, there are others who are worse off than you. Sit down and write out at least 10 things to be thankful for each day, and you will see your anxiety and depression go right out the door.
Benevolent Spirit: Give willingly to someone who can never hope to return the gift. Do it without expecting anything, not even a thank you in return. Attach no strings to your gift, but do it out of genuine love, concern, or compassion for someone else. You will be surprised at the blessings you will receive from giving unselfishly to those less fortunate than yourself.
