Sweet & Sour Vegetables
1 cup water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 red onion, sliced thinly
1 cup baby corn
1 large red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch strips
1/2 cup mung bean sprouts
1 cup shitake mushrooms
1 head broccoli florets, cut into small pieces
1 recipe sweet & sour sauce (click here to see recipe)
Combine all ingredients in a glass plate. Toss with sweet & sour sauce. Place in dehydrator till broccoli becomes somewhat tender. This may take an hour or so.
These are really good to eat just in a bowl, but for variety try placing in a collard green or romaine leaf for a healthy wrap!
